Organization Profile:

Our client is the largest supplier of escalators and elevators worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business in the Gulf Region from a commercial perspective. Particular focus on NI sales growth.
  • Work closely with all KGs in the region to ensure the demanding growth targets for sales and market share are met.
  • Maintain close contact with key customers (NI+EI) to ensure business objectives for these customers are met.
  • Work closely with KGs and Group NI/EI Business Management to ensure product requirements for the Area are fully understood and developed.
  • Carefully monitor the markets and competitors in the region to ensure accurate information is available for business decisions.
  • Promote and maintain the company's image in the Area.
  • Be the main responsible person for rollout in the Area of Group NI/EI Business Management Projects.
  • Number of functional subordinates: IP: 5 (dotted line to Sales & Marketing Directors in KGs)
  • Financial figures: Turnover US$ 130M / EBIT US$ 6M

Skills:

  • Strong commercial skills are essential
  • Lift & Escalator know-how
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Cultural awareness

Expertise:

  • Experience in Lift & Escalator business, ideally in a commercial/sales and marketing role.
  • Knowledge of the region a plus, but not essential

Education

  • Tertiary Education

Languages:

  • Fluent spoken & written English is required
  • Arabic is a plus
