Organization Profile:

Our client, is a leading mafacturer and supplier of industrial valves.

Business Need / Purpose of role:

• The leadership and management of the works resources including supervisory staff, works personnel, equipment and outside supplier services to ensure COMPANY delivers it's products on time to the required standards and within cost budgets.
 
• All in compliance with COMPANY standards and requirements and within a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

• Plan, schedule, manage and coordinate the business capacity and output for all related business to effectively meet customer delivery due dates, COMPANY output targets ensuring costs and profit margins are in line with expectations
• Lead the works supervisory team, purchasing & contracts personnel, direct and control resource issues including the control and scheduling of additional resource including overtime, staff numbers etc.
• Identify potential problems in the manufacturing/service process and manage timely solutions using COMPANY resources either under your direct control or by liaison with other members of the COMPANY management team.
• Ensure all work within COMPANY is carried out in compliance with current H&S rules and COMPANY safety systems. Take an active role in supporting all H&S initiatives and future requirements and ensure support is provided to supervision to enforce any breach of safety rules or unsafe working practices.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the required COMPANY and customer quality and standards.
• Assist with and contribute to the setting and control of monthly and annual budgets on output, expenditure, overtime and salary reviews

Eligibility:

• Engineering Degree Prefered
