Role: HSE Specialist
Client Industry: Sustainable Energy
Location: Abu Dhabi
• Manager legal requirements of HSE and comply regularly
• Support businesses in meeting the HSE KPIs.
• Weekly call with all the operation leads to ensure compliance.
• Prepare the business in line with Management system requirements.
• Participate in GEMBA discussion and lead the HSE actions
• Lead the mandatory training program in the business
• Review ABRA and LSR Compliance take actions and follow up with the team to close gaps on time.
• Perform safety observation tours, and safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
• Manage all required documentation, operational checks, and reports for the HSE Management System to be compliant with ISO standards.
• Compile all NCs, prepare corrective action, and follow up for closure of NCRs.
• Coordinate and participate in the investigation of incidents and near-misses
• Review and analyze past incidents and take action to learn from incidents
• Prepare and timely submit all MIS & reports.
• Share best practices across all units to grow the knowledge and competence of the teams.
• Lead in BU Carbon neutrality program
• Lead and support the factories on Machine Safety Requirements and compliance. Implement the Machine Safety standards in the Factories.
• Manage the Legal documents and reports like CTE & CCA, EPR, monthly, and annual environment monitoring and reporting to GPCB.
• Prepare the Manifest for all hazardous materials disposal.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing HSE programs and initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
