Our client is a leading provider of cranes & components

Business Need / Purpose of role:

Reporting to the Group Leader - Service will be responsible to diagnose and repair and mechanical/ electrical defects.

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

Technical

  • Diagnose and trouble shooting of electrical and mechanical defects
  • Independent inspection, maintenance and repair of cranes, hoists and drive units.
  • Scheduling and attending to the Annual Maintenance Contract within the region
  • Support the Refurbishment Engineer in carrying out refurbishment projects
  • Occasional support in the installation and commissioning of cranes particularly electrics trouble shooting.

Sales

  • Identify point of sale, sales opportunities
  • Technical data input for sales.

Key Account Management

  • Identify the key customers for the region and building customer relations
  • Liaise between the customer and the company in project execution

Eligibility:

Education
  • High Diploma or Graduate in Electrical Engineering with good knowledge of mechanical engineering
  • Being experienced in cranes, hoists and drives for material handling equipment will be an added advantage

Job Specific Skills

  • Good knowledge of the Demag Cranes & Components, product range
  • Experienced with CAN-Bus technology and inverter controlled drives
  • Experience in PLC and SCADA technology will be an added advantage
  • GCC driving license
  • Must be willing to re located in any of the GCC countries, including within Saudi Arabia
  • Must be willing to work overtime.

  • English language (writing & conversation)
