Business Development Manager


Summary:
The ideal candidate should have worked with reputable contracting companies in KSA for the last 10 years. Be able to direct the business development activities and drive new business for the company. The Business Development Manager will work to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. Responsible for driving the growth by generating new business opportunities, define long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key client relationships, identifies business opportunities, submits tenders / bids, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
A key component of this role is strategic planning, and will require extensive knowledge of the company's competitors and the marketplace. Collaboration with the internal cross functional teams to increase business opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization.
Role Description:
Develop a rapport with new clients, and provide support that will continually improve the relationship with existing clients. Develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company, this requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitive advantage. Strategic planning for future development is a key part of this role.
Tenders / Estimations:
  • Submitting tenders / bids for new projects / bid management and presentation.
  • Writing proposals and specifications
  • Competitive analysis
  • Contract review with potential new clients

 
New Business Development:
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business. Marketing strategy and communications, new market investigation, overseeing marketing and account Strategy
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Plan and work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives. Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s Directors/ Principals.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
  • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs, Market Challenges, Territory Management, and Market Knowledge
  • Present an image that mirrors that of the client.

  • Client Retention:
  • Build up and enhance existing client relationships.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
  •  
    Business Development Planning:
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

  • Management and Research:
  • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
  • Understand the company’s goal and purpose so continue to enhance the company’s performance.

  • Creating and delivering business development strategies
  • Delivering growth targets Monitoring and managing budgets Overseeing marketing

    Retail Shop Fit, Fit out estimating, Manufacturing , Bespoke Joinery / carpentry, Furniture and Fittings, Paneling/ Veneer sourcing & management, Metalwork, Electrical Installation / Air conditioning and Ducting, Lighting and Visual Effects, Flooring, Retail Display Equipment, Sales Management, Bid management / Bid writing, Project Management Services, Equipment Design Management, Equipment Design Management, Managing and maintaining budgets and PR and communications including web.
    Education:
    The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relative discipline and 10 + years of business development experience, senior level preferably in KSA. Candidate must be an Arabic Speaker
