Adecco Middle East is looking to hire a Data Warehouse Application Production support for one of their prestigious client based in UAE. The application support specialist is responsible for stability of applications assigned to them by Managers and ongoing support for these applications. This includes service delivery, SLA maintenance for Incidents and SRs. They will be reporting to Manager, Application Operation. This role is also responsible for maintaining production systems to the SLA targets for system availability, incident response and resolution time, and problem follow up.

Prior work experience required: 4 to 6 years of experience in Data Warehouse Production support
Salary: Open for discussion
Job Knowledge
Experience in Application production support within the ITIL Framework.
Hands on experience in proactive monitoring, troubleshooting application related problems on production, Incident Analysis & resolution, and RCA related to Application.
Hands on experience in ensuring the resolution for Production issues is accurate and within SLA.
Experience in Workflow maintenance and Configuration.
Exposure to banking domain would be an added advantage.
Very good knowledge of reporting tools viz.
Cognos, MSBI/ Power BI and Qlikview.
Knowledge on relational and nonrelation Databases (Sybase IQ, Oracle, MSSQL, Mongo DB, Hive).
Experience in debugging any report and
dashboard related issues.
Good /fair knowledge on ETL tools like Informatica Power Center / BDM as part of report investigation.
Hands on knowledge on Informatica Power center/ BDM – Monitoring and troubleshooting is an added advantage.
Hands on experience in Windows and Unix Command.
