SALES MANAGER


One of the well-known multinational Firm, operating in Education industry is looking for a SALES MANAGER, reporting to the School Director, based in Dubai.
The job will consist to achieve performance assigned through a constant follow up, update and training, including supervision of the admissions strategies and procedures too. The purpose of the job is to supervise from end to end the enrollment process and promote the entire product offer at Country and international level and be responsible for the recruitment result of the Dubai School, maximizing them in full respect of legal rules and brand guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • To supervise the multi-step process of enquiries of the students (information-orientation admission/enrollment) with clear objectives in terms of KPI and SLA and to achieve specific target in terms of business development mainly over the assigned area, strictly follow the guidelines coming from Headquarters;
  • To work closely and in partnership with Headquarters, in order to provide the correct replies to agencies and the students, and with other departments of the Dubai School in particular with the Finance department regarding admission supervision;
  • To manage resources of the department with the aim to achieve and constantly increase targets in terms of customer satisfaction and enrolments. To provide all the support and implement and setup necessary tasks to maximize the “feeding” students;
  • To manage with the Europe, Russia, Turkey & Middle East Area Manager the development of the abroad recruitment (European Schools);
  • To develop enrolment strategy for the direct channel (digital marketing, events, fairs, open days, webinar …);
  • To supervise and be responsible for the conversion rate with regards to information, orientation, and business development activities, setting up a structured FAQ and SLA linked to business goals with the aim to improve the “commercial” side of the process. Implement strategies co-decided at Group Level and suggest country-specific activities to mitigate “no show” and any other risks that could affect results;
  • To be always updated regarding competitor activities in the local market in order to give effective, circumstantial and timely feedback to Headquarter about the market, trends competitors, potential new customers and pricing direction;
  • To constantly monitor enrolments performances of the Local population (start and continuing students) in order to propose specific actions to meet the goals and to improve the results;
  • To manage the marketing budget of the School (MEC), with monthly supervision and feedback to Headquarters;
  • To be collaborative with Headquarters applying firm's guideline guaranteeing and optimizing processes to support;
  • To guarantee the material presence as sales support through correct planning of timing in coordination with Headquarters;
  • To constantly inform and update Local sales network at least with periodical calls with key and topic Partners;
  • To manage the information, orientation and admission team, making sure is working towards the same objective;
  • To motivate the team and guide them towards their competencies’ evolution to maintain a high level of engagement and retention;
  • To supervise agency performances and maintain a good and constructive relationship with them to guarantee performance and results;
  • To ensure the department keeps a high standard of regulatory compliance at all time.

Competencies
  • Bachelor Degree in Business
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles, experience within the higher education industry is a plus
  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, business service, education industries is very advantageous
  • Business development experience, managing existing portfolio and generating new business experience is a must
  • Experienced in creating reports and database management
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, the Microsoft package and Mac system
  • Excellent English and Arabic (written and spoken) any other foreign language knowledge is a plus
  • Customer portfolio and Customer Service responsibility
  • Personal skills: ability to work under pressure, flexibility to travel, teamwork skills, commercial approach, organisation and attention to details
  • To be proactive in highlighting critical situations and suggesting potential solutions
  • Experience in working with target and to monitor own performance
  • Available to travel
