Adecco is currently recruiting for Product Owner to join one of our prestigious clients based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set clear product vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the rest of the unit. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure digital product vision aligns with the business objectives. Prioritise features based on the product vision and oversee the development of the product from inception to production.
  • Practice a progressive stakeholder management approach, building in invested relationships and co-ordinate with stakeholders to drumbeat the product vision and priorities.
  • Promotes and works in an agile set up, keep track of changing business needs and refine priorities accordingly. Lead and coordinate any change activity, working with lead translators to maintain a strategic delivery roadmap. Regularly communicate progress to lead translator and other business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate release planning with stakeholders as well as regular demos and create list of backlog items and prioritise accordingly to business objectives.
  • Maintain momentum and direction while balancing the triangle of scope, time and budget in line with dynamic business priorities and objectives. Actively manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects of varying ‘scale’ and business backlog items from idea to delivery with responsibility for business change elements. Use proportionate governance and established change delivery framework.

Key Skills:
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience preferably with at least 3 years in a manufacturing industry. Additional experience in metal, mining and energy would be a bonus.
  • Track record of analytics product ownership in an agile methodology.
  • Formal project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management or equivalent. Proven understanding of agile tools and frameworks including Scrum, XP, Kanban.
  • Excellent project coordinator with knowledge on tracking and analytics setup. Can plan 2-3 steps ahead of the team and see hidden risks 2-3 levels deep within the team.
  • Proficient with drawing storyboards, creating wireframes, creating / ‘grooming’ product backlogs, writing user stories and developing acceptance criteria
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, business, and design. Experience in working with design team to deliver top user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), and in engaging and managing third parties (vendors, consultants etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior business and IT executives on transforming towards agile. Ability to move between strategic discussions with senior business leaders to tackle on the ground agile coaching with teams.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a diverse change portfolio with concurrent initiatives underpinned by proven dexterity, creativity and the efficient use of resources.
  • Solid experience in delivering of all stages of project and software development life cycle, managing the delivery of complex business change projects within Data Transformation. Excellent knowledge in technical engineering best practices (test driven development, continuous integration, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other similar tools.
  • Experience and track record in delivering in some or all Industry 4.0 related products (IoT, big data, VR/AR, robotics and in particular advanced analytics) as well as automation projects in an agile framework.
  • Possess the business acumen to turn data insights into products with tangible outcomes that have a real business impact.
  • Knowledge of tools in our technology stack. For example, Azure, Power BI, Sparx, Python, R, Synapse and SQL Server / in Big Data and real time analytics / Dev Ops methodology CI/CD
