We are currently recruiting an Application Support Specialist - Java & Angular for our prestigious Banking client based in Dubai, UAE.

Job Description:

• Quick learner and ability to adapt Function and Technical skills,
• Ability to adjust to fast pace and demanding environment.
• Understanding of banking and related transactions and processes.
• Work co-operatively with the team.
• Should be capable of analyzing functional Specification based on business and related changes.
• Should be capable of doing impact analysis.
• Should be interested and willing for production support with investigation and root cause analysis.
Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong in Core Java/J2EE.
• Working experience in Oracle including PL SQL.
• Experience in Functional specification and high level design documents.
• Strong in SDLC.
• Knowledge in banking domain.
• Interested to work on Production Support and root cause investigations
• Knowledge in Unix and Windows OS 
• Experience in Functional specification and design documents.
• Knowledge in banking domain.
• Interested to work on Production Support and root cause investigations.
• Should be interested in finding the root cause and recommend actions for permanent fixes and possible workarounds.
• Ensure proactive methods for identifying issues.
• Proficient in Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Review and Deployments.
• Practical experience with GraphQL.
• Well versed with CI/CD principles, and actively involved in solving, troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystem
• Understanding of containerization, experienced in Dockers , Kubernetes.
• Exposed to API gateway integrations like 3Scale.
• Understanding of Single-Sign-on or token based authentication (Rest, JWT, oAuth)
• Possess expert knowledge of task/message queues include but not limited to: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin and Kafka
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Ability to Coordinate the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and self.
