We are looking for an experienced Retail Project Manager to lead the delivery of a number of technology projects within our Retail division. The ideal candidate will be a senior professional on the Project Management field who has experience in delivering and migrating medium to large eCommerce, POS, Store opening projects. The Project Manager will be leading complex multi matrix technical teams in a challenging environment and will require strong delivery and third party management experience.
Role Responsibilities
- Mobilize teams and ensure the relevant governance models are in place
- Manage senior stakeholders and lead on all project delivery Initiatives
- Focal point for project communications to sponsors, stakeholders and Project steering committee
- Work with wider technology and business teams to define the most appropriate technology delivery approach
- Manage project deliverables on time, budget and quality
- Drive the agile delivery of projects with a time-to-market mindset through Scrum/Kanban frameworks
- Monitor key milestones and budgets throughout the project and implementing course corrections as needed
Requirements
- Experience leading retail projects (ecommerce, martech, store openings, …) in a complex organization
- Prince 2 / PMP Qualified
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field
- 10+ years IT Experience, including 5+ years demonstrated experience in successful delivery of medium to large scale projects in a Sr. Project Manager role
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Retail industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral & written) and ability to deal with different levels of people within the organization.
- Results oriented and structured thinking
- Budget and schedule management experience
- Expert in the use of standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, , MS Office, JIRA, Confluence)
