One of the biggest multinational food and beverage company is looking for a Financial Controller.
Reporting to VP and CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for accounting activities in DRC including accounts, billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost Accounting, revenue recognition, and taxes.
This job posting is for a permanent position.
Location: Dubai
Responsibilities:
- Providing business support and quality controls: tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances
- Accounting, compliance and reporting: ensure that all accounting systems, programs, processes comply with international accounting standards
- Managing the credit function: review collection and ageing reports to determine the status of collections and the amounts of outstanding balances and recommend mid and long term solutions for better credit management
- Managing inventory, A&M, fixed Assets and cash: analyze financial information, prepare financial reports to determine and maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, budgets and other financial activities
- Managing the team: assess the finance department staffing and skills’ requirements in line with HR capability. Manage the performance of the teams, guide, coach, and develop them
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Economics, Accounting or Finance and an approved professional qualification or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience
- Strong managerial, organizational, project management, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and committed to delivering on commitments
- FMCG industry experience is advantages
