Adecco is looking to hire a Cloud Security Engineer for one of our prestigious client who is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Type: 12 months Contract

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Implementation of Cloud Security Solutions, and incident response based on red / blue team requirements.
• Implement security architectures for cloud cloud/hybrid systems, and apply security hardening bassline like (CIS or Stig..etc).
• Responsible for configuring security controls on cloud environments
• Employ cloud-based APIs when suitable to write network/system level tools for safeguarding cloud environments
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls with a special focus on cloud security vendors, platforms and systems Integrators.
• Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices into the company’s Cloud offerings.
• A mind-set and desire to confidently hand over into operational support with pride. Technical deployment expertise in using various monitoring, management, and capacity planning tools.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills; capable of writing technical documentation, acting as a vendor liaison, work closely with Senior Implementation Engineers and peers.
• Maintains and evangelizes strong values of integrity, commitment, and self-improvement to self and others

Technical Requirement

Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical capability, with at least 2 years in a Cloud Security role, preferably working for an IT Services or Systems Integration organization

Candidates must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of installation and configuration in one or more of the following core technologies:

• AWS, Azure Stack and Microsoft 365
• Microsoft 365 Defender and Endpoint
• Azure Information Protection
• Azure AIP, and Intune.
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Security Posture Management
• On-prem Microsoft Exchange

Skills Required:

Must be able to demonstrate experience with:

• Integration with eco-systems such as (Monitoring, Identity access management, Privileged access management, Log management)
• Windows ecosystem security best practices
• Server hardware e.g. Cisco UCS, Dell, HPE
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python is preferred.

Certification Requirements:

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is preferred
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or Architect
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty is preferred
