Azure Security Architect
Role Details: Azure Security Architect
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience
Certifications: Necessary certifications in Azure security and related domains
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security architectures for Azure-based solutions, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client data.
- Lead security assessments and risk analysis of Azure environments, identifying vulnerabilities, threats, and potential security breaches.
- Design and implement security controls and measures to protect Azure resources, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security practices into the entire software development lifecycle.
- Define and enforce Azure security policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for enhancing Azure security.
- Maintain documentation of security architectures, configurations, and incident response procedures for future reference.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and implementing Azure security solutions.
- At least 4 years of recent experience in a senior position at a leading consulting firm or system integration company.
- Expert knowledge of Azure security services and features, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault.
- In-depth understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Strong experience with identity and access management, network security, data protection, and threat detection in Azure environments.
- Proven experience in conducting security assessments, audits, and incident response activities.
- Excellent knowledge of security best practices and emerging trends in cloud security.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
