Role: Cost Engineer -Construction
Job Location: 1 year Training program in South Korea and there after anywhere in GCC.
Client Industry: Oil & Gas
Job Summary
The cost Engineer is responsible for managing construction cost based on subcontract during EPC Project execution stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Update subcontract status and summarize major changes for ongoing projects.
• Be in charge of internal system to manage construction cost and instruct global staffs at site
• Performs or supervises project cost control activities, improves internal managing process.
• Calculate and record cost impact caused by change order.
• Discover frequent change order with subcontractor to minimize grey zone between bidding and execution
• Simulate subcontractor’s cash flow and verify bottle neck considering invoice status
• Organize history of all claim, change order and back charge under.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cost estimates and contracts. Project based experience within Oil and Gas industry or Petrochemical industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of oil/gas/petrochemical or power plants construction issues and the cost/schedule/risk factors associated
• Bachelor's degree in engineering major qualification
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
